When a panel has actually broken

Toughened glass cannot be cut after tempering, so a broken panel is remade to its exact size. That generally takes 7–10 days after the advance. Until then, the opening is made safe: the broken glass is cleared and the gap is boarded or taped off, which the facility team should arrange straight away.
