Glass & Metal Fabrication in Gurgaon

Gurgaon is not one market for glass and metal fabrication. It is five or six very different cities sharing a name. A Grade-A tower in DLF Cyber City, a thirty-storey condominium on Golf Course Extension Road, a DLF Phase 1 builder floor with a stilt car park, a converted factory plot in Udyog Vihar and a two-storey house behind Sadar Bazaar each need different things, and each has its own rules about who can work, when, and how the material gets in. How Gurgaon splits into zones for fabrication work

The city grew outward from the old town along NH-48 and then south and west, and the age of a sector tells you most of what you need to know about its buildings. Here is the short version.

Cyber City, Cyber Hub and MG Road: the commercial core

This is where most of the city's office glass lives. In DLF Cyber City the building, not the tenant, sets the pace: fit-out approval, worker passes and a booked service-lift slot come before any panel moves. Cyber Hub is restaurants and bars, where an entrance door is opened hundreds of times a day and the floor spring is what fails. Along MG Road the stock is older malls and showrooms, which means shop fronts, rolling shutters and tired ACP.

Golf Course Road, the DLF Phases and Sushant Lok: established homes

Golf Course Road is high-end condominium living, where society facade rules decide what can go on a balcony. The DLF Phases and Sushant Lok are mostly plotted: builder floors and independent houses with roof terraces, stilt parking and stairs instead of service lifts. Terrace sheds, railings and bathroom upgrades are the everyday jobs here.

Golf Course Extension Road and the SPR: the newer high-rises

Golf Course Extension Road and the Southern Peripheral Road societies are mostly towers handed over in the last decade or so, plus shop-cum-office (SCO) blocks. Work here is first fit-out: shower partitions after tiling, mosquito mesh on balcony doors, and shop fronts for new retail.

Sohna Road, Nirvana Country and South City

Sohna Road mixes owner-run office blocks with societies behind them. Nirvana Country and South City are plotted, gated townships with villas and builder floors, where main gates, window grills, pergolas and staircase railings matter as much as glass.

Dwarka Expressway, Palam Vihar, Old Gurgaon and Udyog Vihar

Dwarka Expressway is New Gurgaon: large societies in Sectors 99 to 113, many still in handover, so dust, first fittings and window sealing dominate. Palam Vihar is an older, low-density plotted township near the Delhi border. Old Gurgaon is the original town around Sadar Bazaar, with shops at ground level and homes above. Udyog Vihar is converted industrial plots on the far side of NH-48 from Cyber City, where mezzanines and shutters sit next to office cabins.

Glass styles carry published per sq ft rates on the rate card. Metal, railings, sheds, windows and facades are quoted after the site visit, because the steel section, the span and the site decide the price far more than the area does.

What Gurgaon's weather does to glass and metal

Three things shape the specification here more than anything else. Summer heat on a west-facing terrace makes a cheap polycarbonate sheet yellow and go brittle, which is why a UV-protected sheet matters (see polycarbonate sheet yellowing). Monsoon rain finds every badly sealed window and shed joint, so drainage slope and sealant are part of the design. And dust from the construction that never stops somewhere in the city wears sliding tracks and floor springs. Mild steel that is not primed and painted, or powder coated, rusts quickly in this cycle; rusting gates and grills are among the most common things people ask about.

How a job runs, anywhere in Gurugram

1. Book a site visit for ₹99. For a repair, send a photo or video on WhatsApp instead; repairs are quoted from that.
2. We visit, usually within 24 to 48 hours, check the site, the access route and any society or building rules, and measure.
3. You get a written, all-inclusive quotation, aimed within about 2 hours of the visit and valid for 3 days.
4. Pay 50% advance to start fabrication. Toughened glass generally takes 7 to 10 days to produce.
5. We install, and the remaining 50% is paid on completion.
