Shower glass partitions and enclosures in Gurgaon

Most shower glass partition enquiries in Gurgaon come from one of two places: a new flat whose bathrooms were handed over with a curtain rod and a wet floor, or an older home where the curtain finally went mouldy and someone decided to do it properly. Either way the question is the same: which shape of glass suits this bathroom, what will it cost, and how long until the shower can be used again. There are seven bathroom styles on the rate card. Each rate below is the starting price per sq ft of glass, fitted, using 10mm Saint-Gobain toughened glass with SS304 or aluminium fittings as listed on each style's page.

Where in Gurgaon this work comes up, and what each place asks for

The bathroom you have depends a lot on the part of the city you live in, and that changes which partition makes sense.

• New towers on [Dwarka Expressway](/locations/gurgaon/dwarka-expressway): recent possessions where the builder left the shower area open. Bathrooms are usually compact, and a sliding partition is common because the door swing would foul the WC.
• High-rises on [Golf Course Extension Road](/locations/gurgaon/golf-course-extension-road): larger master bathrooms, often with a separate shower zone and a full-height window. A fixed screen or a frameless hinged door tends to suit the space.

Gurgaon's water is hard on shower glass. Plan for it.

Much of Gurugram runs on borewell or tanker water with a high mineral content, and it shows on glass within weeks: white spots, then a cloudy film along the bottom third of the panel. This does not damage toughened glass, but it changes what you should ask for. A wiper after each shower does more than any coating. Hinged doors with fewer fittings low down are easier to keep clean than sliders, whose bottom guide collects scale. If the bathroom has a water softener, the problem mostly goes away. What changes the price of a shower partition in Gurgaon?

The rate is per sq ft of glass, so height and width drive most of the cost. A typical wall-to-wall partition about 3 ft wide and 7 ft tall is 21 sq ft; as a fixed screen that works out to ₹7,770, and with a hinged door at the standard rate it comes to ₹10,500. After size, these move the number:

• Door type: a slider costs more than a hinged door because of the track and rollers.
• Corner versus straight: an L-shape adds a second panel and more fittings.
• Frame: the slim black aluminium profiles carry a higher rate than frameless.
• Wall condition: a wall that leans or a floor with a steep slope to the drain needs more careful measurement, and sometimes a framed style.

How a bathroom glass job runs from booking to first shower

1. Book a site visit for ₹99, adjusted against the final bill. We usually visit within 24–48 hours.
2. We measure the opening, check the walls with a level and look at where the floor slopes to the drain.
3. You get an all-inclusive written quotation, usually within about 2 hours of the visit, valid for 3 days.
4. On approval you pay 50% advance, and the glass goes into production. Toughened glass takes around 7–10 days.
5. We install, seal the edges and hand over. The remaining 50% is paid on completion.

Toughened glass cannot be cut or drilled once it is tempered, which is why every hole and notch is decided at measurement and why a second visit to re-measure is rarely needed if the first one is done properly. Fittings carry the 1 year functional warranty on hardware listed for each door style; the glass itself is not covered.
