Who this framed corner enclosure is for

This is the most finished-looking shower we fit, and it is priced accordingly. It suits two kinds of bathroom.

The first is the design-led renovation: black taps and rain shower, a feature tile on the back wall, and a black-lined glass box that frames it all. The profile turns the shower into the room's main architectural element.

The second is the awkward corner. Where two walls do not meet at a true right angle, a frameless corner shows a joint that tapers from top to bottom. Profiles at the walls and at the corner post absorb that variation and make the box look square.

If neither of those matters to you, the frameless L-shaped enclosure with door is the same layout at ₹500 per sq ft. How the black frame and the glass come together

Every pane is 10mm Saint-Gobain toughened glass, held in imported matte black aluminium profiles. A typical enclosure has wall channels on both walls, a corner post or corner profile where the two sides meet, a base profile or sill, and a framed door that closes onto a profile with a seal.

The frame is fixed first and squared up against the walls, even if the walls themselves are not square, and the glass is then glazed into it with gaskets. That two-stage build is what makes framed enclosures tolerant of uneven corners, and why the profiles are sized at the visit rather than off a catalogue.

The door hangs on hinges in a matching black finish. Because it closes against a profile rather than glass, the seal at the closing edge is usually more positive than on a frameless door, which helps in bathrooms where the floor falls only gently to the drain.

What a framed corner enclosure costs

Add the widths of both sides, multiply by the height, and price the glass from ₹1,100 per sq ft. Two common corners:

Compact corner, 3 ft + 3 ft × 6.5 ft (39 sq ft): ₹42,900

Standard corner, 3.5 ft + 3.5 ft × 7 ft (49 sq ft): ₹53,900

What else moves the number: fluted or frosted glass, extra horizontal bars, an off-standard height, and a corner far enough out of square that profiles need packing. How a framed enclosure job is run

Book the ₹99 site visit once the bathroom is tiled; it is usually arranged within 24–48 hours. The team measures both walls out from the corner at several heights, checks the angle between them, notes where taps, niches and the drain sit, and agrees the door position and swing. The visit fee is adjusted against your bill if you go ahead.

Your all-inclusive quote should follow roughly 2 hours after the team leaves, and it holds for 3 days. On approval and a 50% advance, the glass goes into production, which generally takes 7–10 days for toughened glass, while the profiles are cut to your sizes.

On installation day, the frame goes up and is squared, the fixed panels are glazed in, the door is hung and adjusted, and the joints are sealed. The shower stays off until the silicone has cured. The balance is due on completion.

Keeping a black enclosure looking new

A black frame shows white hard-water spots more than any other finish, and both Gurugram and Noida have hard water. A thirty-second squeegee of the glass and a quick wipe of the bottom profile after each shower keeps it looking new far longer than any cleaner.
