Why would you pay more for a frame?
- The look. Black grid lines suit industrial, Japandi or heritage-style interiors, and they mark the glass clearly so nobody walks into it.

How a framed partition is made and fitted
The aluminium profiles are cut to the measured size and joined into a frame; the toughened glass, made to size with any holes cut before toughening, is set into it with gaskets. For an office cabin, the door still runs on a floor machine and the frame is fixed to the floor, wall and ceiling. For a slim-profile shower, the profiles run around each panel and the door swings on hinges.
