How is Greater Noida laid out, and what does each part ask for?

Pari Chowk is the hub. The Aqua Line runs in from Noida through Knowledge Park II, Pari Chowk, Alpha 1, Delta 1 and GNIDA Office to the Depot terminus, and the city's zones spread out from that line.

Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta: the first sectors

These are among the earliest planned sectors, a mix of GNIDA plots, builder floors and a few societies. • Metal finish matters more. Open plots take the full force of the monsoon and the dust that blows across undeveloped land, and bare mild steel rusts within a season. Primer plus enamel, or a powder coat, is the minimum; see powder coating.
• Heavy gates need proper foundations. A sliding gate needs a level track bed and a stop at each end; a swing gate needs pillars that will not lean. We check both at the visit.
• Builder floors split one plot into flats, so the ground-floor owner, the stair and the terrace may belong to different people. Agree who owns what before you order a shed or a stair railing.
