Doors, Railings and Pergolas for Jaypee Greens, Greater Noida

Jaypee Greens in Greater Noida is a 452-acre golf township built around an 18-hole course designed by Greg Norman, a short drive from Pari Chowk and the India Expo Mart. Homes are semi-detached villas and condominium towers, many of them looking straight onto the fairways. That view is the whole point of living here, and it shapes the work: almost every request is about opening the house to the course, or making the most of a terrace or balcony that faces it.

Opening the house to the view

Many villas still have the window and door sets they were handed over with, often narrow sliders with heavy frames. The two common upgrades:

• A slide-and-fold door across a living-room wall, so panels stack to one side and the opening is almost fully clear.
• A large-panel aluminium sliding door, which keeps the glass area big but needs less stacking space.

Balconies and terraces that face the course

Township rules come first

A planned township protects its look. Anything visible from outside, whether a railing, a pergola, a change of window colour or a canopy, normally needs the maintenance office's written approval, and some designs may be prescribed. Bring the township's guidelines to the visit and we will design within them. Interior work such as a bathroom enclosure usually needs only a work permit and gate passes.

Condominium towers add a practical point: long glass panels and door frames go up in the service lift, so we ask for the lift car's inside dimensions before ordering. Where a panel will not fit, the design is split into smaller leaves at the drawing stage rather than discovered on delivery day. Villas avoid this, but their garden doors are often heavy enough to need a two-person lift and a clear path from the gate.

Bathrooms in larger homes

Villa bathrooms are often big enough for a proper enclosure. An L-shape frameless shower enclosure with door starts at ₹500 per sq ft, and the slider version at ₹570 per sq ft, in 10mm Saint-Gobain toughened glass with SS304 fittings.
