A 4 × 7 ft walk-in shower screen
One fixed panel, 4 ft wide and 7 ft tall, is 28 sq ft of glass. At ₹370 per sq ft that is ₹10,360. There is no door, so no hinges or handle to pay for.
A 10 × 8 ft cabin front with a door
A cabin built into a corner of the floor, where two walls already exist, only needs glass across the front: 10 ft wide and 8 ft high is 80 sq ft. At ₹400 per sq ft that comes to ₹32,000. Glaze a second 8 ft side as well and the glass area rises to 144 sq ft, or ₹57,600.
A 12 × 9 ft shopfront
A ground-floor shop opening 12 ft wide and 9 ft high is 108 sq ft. As a toughened glass shopfront with door at ₹500 per sq ft, it is ₹54,000.
What changes the price of a glass partition?
Because each style has a published starting rate, a quote moves up from it for only a few reasons. Most of them are choices you make, not surprises.

What does the price include?
The written quote is all-inclusive for the agreed scope: the Saint-Gobain toughened glass, SS304 fittings, cutting, holes and cut-outs (all done before toughening, because toughened glass cannot be cut afterwards), delivery and installation. The office styles carry a 2 year functional warranty on the floor machine and the bathroom door styles a 1 year functional warranty on hardware. The warranty covers fittings, not the glass.
Anything outside the agreed scope, such as civil work to an uneven opening, is named on the quote before you approve it rather than added afterwards.
How do you compare glass partition quotes?
- Check the unit. Some quotes give a rate per sq ft of glass, some a lump sum. Convert both to a total for the same glass area.
- Check the glass. Ask for the thickness and the brand, and whether it is toughened. Ordinary float glass is cheaper and not safe for a partition.
- Check the fittings. SS304 resists rust; cheaper grades can stain in a humid bathroom.
