Office Cabins, Repairs & Home Fabrication in Sectors 17 & 18, Gurgaon

Sector 18 lies on the northern side of Gurugram, beside the Udyog Vihar industrial area, and is home to Maruti Suzuki's Maruti Udyog campus along with a large stock of corporate and back-office buildings; Sarhaul village sits within the area. Sector 17, next door towards Sector 14 and Sector 29, is a plotted residential sector of houses and builder floors. Few places in the city put an office district and a quiet residential sector this close. For office cabins and home fabrication in Sectors 17 and 18, Gurgaon, the two halves of the job are quite different, so this page treats them separately.

Sector 18: offices that change hands

Office buildings in Sector 18 are mostly owner-run blocks let floor by floor, and tenants turn over. Each new tenant reworks the layout: more meeting rooms, fewer cabins, a new reception. That makes re-usability as important as the look.

All use 12mm Saint-Gobain toughened glass with SS304 fittings, and the floor machine on frameless doors carries a 2 year functional warranty. For meeting rooms, sound is the usual complaint; office glass partition sound and privacy explains how much glass can help, and conference room glass design covers layouts.

Inherited glass, worn-out doors

A new tenant often inherits the last tenant's cabins, with doors that drag, latch badly or hit their frames. These are repairs, not refits: see cabin door hitting frame, glass doors with uneven gaps and the office door machine replacement guide. Send a video on WhatsApp for a quote; no paid visit is needed for repairs.

Sector 17: homes beside the office district

Sector 17's plotted houses need the usual home work, with one local twist: the area sees office traffic and parking pressure on weekdays. Owners commonly want a stronger MS main gate or sliding gate to protect parking, window grills on ground floors, and shower glass when bathrooms are redone. A frameless shower partition with door starts at ₹500 per sq ft, in 10mm Saint-Gobain toughened glass with a 1 year functional warranty on hardware.

• Older houses with steel windows often move to aluminium sliding windows for light and less dust.
• Rebuilt floors need staircase railings and balcony railings.
• Rusting gates are a frequent request; see metal gate and grill rusting.

Timing work in each half

Office work in occupied buildings is often scheduled for evenings or weekends so staff are not disturbed; residential work runs during the day. Both start with a ₹99 site visit and a written quote. See office glass partitions in Gurgaon, glass for offices in Gurgaon and neighbouring Udyog Vihar. Book a site visit, or send a video of the door that needs fixing.
