Glass and fabrication for restaurants and cafes in Noida
Noida's cafes and restaurants trade from sector markets, malls and the high streets under new societies. FabWise fits their glass fronts from ₹500 per sq ft and glass partitions from ₹350 per sq ft, and quotes sheds, canopies and railings after a visit.

Eating out in Noida centres on a handful of places. Sector 18 and its malls draw the city's biggest crowds; sector markets such as those in Sector 50 and Sector 27 hold neighbourhood restaurants with first-floor dining rooms; and the high streets at the foot of societies on the Noida Expressway and in Noida Extension serve families who live upstairs. Noida restaurant fit-outs reflect that mix: mall units, first-floor dining over a market, and ground-floor cafes under residential towers.
Our restaurant and cafe hub explains the general options. This page is about the Noida settings above and the rules each one brings, especially for cafes under residential towers. The Noida page lists our other services.
First-floor restaurants in sector markets
A lot of Noida's neighbourhood dining sits upstairs in a sector market, above a row of shops. The challenge is visibility: diners need to see the restaurant from the parking. Owners often replace an old window wall with a full glass front on the first floor, light it well at night, and add a glass canopy over the stair entrance below. Access is through a shared stair, so panel sizes are planned to make the turns.
Ground-floor cafes under societies
Cafes on the new high streets usually take a shell unit with a shutter and add a glass front behind it. Outdoor seating is the draw, but these units face a large residents' association above them, which typically has rules on noise, smoke and anything fixed outside the shop line. A polycarbonate shed or canopy over the frontage needs the association's or developer's approval, which the cafe owner arranges before we build.
Glass inside the dining room
Many Noida restaurants now show off the kitchen or the bakery counter. A frameless fixed glass partition, from ₹350 per sq ft, separates the kitchen from the dining room while keeping it visible; private dining rooms use the same glass with a door. Near cooking areas, toughened glass is the right choice because it tolerates heat far better than ordinary glass, and it breaks into small blunt pieces if it does break.
| Noida setting | Main constraint | Typical work |
|---|---|---|
| Sector 18 malls and complexes | Mall fit-out rules and hours | Glass front, internal partitions |
| Sector market first floor | Visibility, shared stair access | First-floor glass front, entrance canopy |
| Society high-street cafe | Association rules on outside fixtures | Glass front, canopy or polycarbonate shed, railings |
| Rooftop or terrace dining | Weather, parapet height | Pergola, shed, glass or SS railing |
Rooftops and terraces
Where a restaurant has a terrace, the same rules apply as anywhere in the NCR: a glass balcony railing or SS railing at the edge, shade from a pergola, and a polycarbonate roof if it must trade in the monsoon. The structure and fire safety of a rooftop restaurant are cleared by the owner.
How it runs in Noida
Book a visit for ₹99, adjusted against the final bill, usually within 24–48 hours. After measuring, we aim to send a written all-inclusive quote within about 2 hours, valid 3 days. Fabrication starts on a 50% advance; toughened glass takes 7–10 days; the rest is paid on completion. We schedule installation outside service hours where possible.

Common questions
Can you put a glass wall between the kitchen and dining area?
Yes. A fixed frameless toughened glass partition, from ₹350 per sq ft, is the usual choice. Toughened glass handles kitchen heat far better than ordinary glass. We keep a sensible distance from burners and plan the panel joints around service hatches.
Do I need permission for a shed outside my cafe in a Noida society?
Usually yes. Cafes on society high streets sit under a residents' or developer-managed association that controls fixtures outside the shop line. Get written approval first; we then measure, quote and build to what has been approved. Bringing the approved drawing to the visit saves a second round of changes.
What does a restaurant glass front cost in Noida?
A toughened glass front with a door starts at ₹500 per sq ft, priced on measured glass area. Canopies, sheds, pergolas and railings have no published rate and are quoted after the visit, all in one all-inclusive quotation.
Pehli manzil ke restaurant ka glass front kaise lagega, seedhi patli hai?
We measure the stair turns at the visit and size the panels to make the climb. If a full-height panel cannot pass, the front is split into narrower panels with neat joints. Toughened glass cannot be cut on site, so this is fixed before fabrication.
