Polycarbonate sheds, pergolas and canopies in Noida

A polycarbonate shed in Noida is usually bought for one of two seasons. In May and June, a bare terrace is too hot to stand on; in July and August, it is too wet to use. 1. Are you allowed to roof this space? In a society, the terrace or the top-floor private terrace usually comes under the society's rules on the facade and on covered area. Many allow an open pergola but not a closed roof. For an independent house, building rules can count a permanent roof as covered area, so check before you build.
2. Where will the rainwater go? A roof over a terrace collects all the rain that used to fall across it. It needs a slope and a gutter that lead to an existing drain outlet.
3. What will the frame fix into? Anchoring into the slab or a parapet is what keeps a shed in place in a storm. Waterproofing on the terrace must not be punctured carelessly.
4. Do you want shade, rain cover or both? That decides between a pergola, a solid-sheet shed and a clear polycarbonate roof.
