Sheds, Shutters and Facades for Noida Phase 2 and the NSEZ

Noida Phase 2, the Hosiery Complex and the NSEZ are export and manufacturing units, so the work is rolling shutters, loading-bay sheds, louvers, ACP fronts and glass admin rooms. Metal and facade work is quoted after a ₹99 survey; office glass starts at ₹350 per sq ft.

Aluminium louvers fixed across the upper facade of a commercial building for ventilation

Noida Phase 2 is the city's large manufacturing district along the Aqua Line, around Sectors 80 to 85 and Yakubpur. It contains the Hosiery Complex, laid out in lettered blocks of factory plots, and the Noida Special Economic Zone (NSEZ), whose own station on the Aqua Line opened in January 2019 between the Sector 81 and Sector 83 stops. Many units are export-oriented, including garment and knitwear makers, and buildings range from modest RCC sheds to large multi-floor factories. If you run or manage a unit here, this page is about what tends to need fabricating, and how the work is done without disrupting production.

Which fabrication jobs come up in export units?

Buildings that make and pack goods for export share the same weak points, and most requests fall into four groups:

Typical fabrication needs in Phase 2 and NSEZ units

Loading bays and the monsoon

Cartons waiting for a container cannot get wet. An MS-framed canopy over the dispatch bay, built like a car parking shed and sheeted in metal or polycarbonate, keeps the loading zone dry. It needs proper gutters and downpipes, because a canopy that dumps water onto the bay solves nothing; see shed gutter overflowing. Our comparison of polycarbonate vs metal sheet roofs sets out the trade-offs between light and heat.

Shutters that run all day

A dispatch rolling shutter may go up and down dozens of times a shift. Motorising it saves time and wear on staff. Shutters that are forced when half-jammed bend their slats, so early repair is cheaper than replacement; see rolling shutter stuck and shutter lock jammed. Send a video for a repair quote.

Heat and air on the production floor

Stitching and finishing floors get hot in a Noida summer. Fixed aluminium louvers over high-level openings let hot air out while keeping rain and birds out, and they do not rust the way mild steel does. Where windows are needed, aluminium sliding windows with mesh are the practical choice. See louvres for the main types.

Admin, QC and the buyer's first impression

Buyers and auditors visit export units, and the entrance and office are what they see first. A glass entrance and a refreshed ACP cladding front make an old building look cared for. Inside, a frameless fixed glass office partition from ₹350 per sq ft or a frameless glass office partition with door from ₹400 per sq ft creates a QC or meeting room that still looks onto the floor. Office styles use 12mm Saint-Gobain toughened glass and carry a 2 year functional warranty on the floor machine.

Working inside the NSEZ

The special economic zone has its own controlled entry. Material and team entry is arranged through the unit, so ask your admin team about the gate-pass process before the visit and installation days. Units in the Hosiery Complex and the open Phase 2 sectors have simpler access, though narrow service roads still decide what size of vehicle can reach the gate.

FabWise runs the same process in Gurugram and Noida: a ₹99 visit, usually within 24–48 hours, then a free, all-inclusive written quote within about two hours, with 50% advance and 50% on completion. For the industrial belt near Sector 63, see Sector 62; for unit-level detail, see warehouses and factories in Noida and facades and shutters in Noida. Book a survey with a sketch of the area.

Common questions

Do you do fabrication work inside the Noida SEZ?

Yes, subject to the zone's entry rules. The unit arranges gate passes for the team and materials, and we work within the hours the zone and the unit allow. Tell us at booking that the unit is inside the NSEZ so the visit can be planned around entry.

Can you build a canopy over a loading bay in the Hosiery Complex?

Yes. A loading canopy is an MS frame with a metal or polycarbonate sheet roof, sized to the bay and the trucks that use it, with gutters and downpipes. It has no fixed rate and is quoted after the site survey, once the span and fixing points are known.

Factory mein garmi bahut hai, louvers se fark padega?

Often, yes. Louvers on high openings let hot air escape while keeping rain out, which helps a hot shed breathe. They work best with low-level air inlets and, where needed, exhaust fans. We look at the building at the survey and suggest where louvers will help.

How much does a glass QC room cost in a Phase 2 factory?

A fixed frameless glass partition starts at ₹350 per sq ft, and a frameless cabin with a door at ₹400 per sq ft. A small room with about 100 sq ft of glass comes to roughly ₹40,000. The written quote after measuring gives the exact figure.
