Sector 63 & Industrial Belt · ACP Cladding, Facades & Shutters
Turning a Factory Front Into an Office Facade in Noida's Sector 57–65 Belt
When a Sector 57–65 building moves from production to offices, the front usually gets structural glazing at the entrance, ACP across the blank walls, louvers over AC and DG plant, and rolling shutters only where goods still move. All of it is quoted after a ₹99 survey.

Sector 59 has become known for corporate and IT buildings, and across the belt more owners are turning sheds and factory blocks into offices, back-office floors or showrooms. The building inside changes quickly; the front often lags behind, still showing brick, shutters and old signage. The area page covers ACP for factory fronts. This page is about the full conversion, where the face of the building has to say office.
Glazing or cladding, face by face
Most conversions mix two systems. Structural glazing puts flush glass on the entrance and the office floors, bonded to an aluminium frame with structural silicone so no caps show outside. ACP cladding covers the blank walls, stair cores and old openings that are being closed up. The comparison in structural glazing vs ACP helps decide which face gets which, and the ACP cladding price guide explains the cladding cost.
Hiding the plant
Offices bring AC outdoor units and often a DG set, usually parked on the roof or along a side wall. Aluminium louvers screen them so the new facade isn't spoiled by machinery, while leaving enough open area for the units to breathe. The blade spacing is set to the equipment, which the survey notes.
| Style | Why it suits a converted building in the belt | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Structural glazing | Entrance and office floors that need a clean glass face | Quoted after visit |
| ACP cladding | Blank walls, stair cores and closed-up openings | Quoted after visit |
| Aluminium louvers | Screen rooftop AC units and the DG set | Quoted after visit |
| Rolling shutter | Kept at a loading bay or store that still takes goods | Quoted after visit |
Keep or lose the shutters
A converted building rarely needs shutters across its whole front. Keep one at the loading bay or the store if goods still come in, and replace the rest with glazing or cladding. Where a shutter stays on a glazed front, its box and guides are planned into the facade frame so they do not stick out.
What fails later
Water through a glazed facade usually comes from failed joint sealant rather than the glass, see structural glazing leak. On cladding, sun-facing panels of lower grades lose colour, the ACP colour fading problem, so specify the coating grade at the start.
Before the survey
- Check with the building owner and the Noida Authority what approvals the change of use and facade need.
- Bring building drawings if you have them, and the planned office layout.
- Note access for scaffolding or a boom lift along the front.
- Agree working hours if part of the building is still in use.
The ₹99 survey is usually within 24–48 hours and adjusted against the bill. A free, all-inclusive written quote follows within about two hours, valid for 3 days; 50% advance starts fabrication and the balance is paid on completion. Every facade option is on facades and shutters in Noida and in the facades catalogue, and for the inside see offices in Noida. The Sector 63 belt page covers mezzanines and sheds, and the towers of Sectors 119–121 are just south.
Common questions
Factory building ko office jaisa dikhane ke liye kya lagega?
Usually structural glazing at the entrance and office floors, ACP on blank walls and old openings, and louvers to hide AC and DG plant. Shutters stay only where goods still move. The survey looks at each face of the building before anything is quoted.
Can structural glazing be fixed to an old factory building?
Often, yes. The glazing hangs on an aluminium frame anchored to the building's columns and slabs, so the structure behind must be sound at those points. The survey checks the anchor positions; where the frame is weak, ACP may be the more practical face.
How do I hide rooftop AC units on a converted office?
Aluminium louvers around the units screen them from the street while leaving air free to move. Blade spacing and the open area are set to the units' airflow, so note the models and positions. Louvers are quoted after the survey.
Do I need approval to change the facade in Sector 59?
Usually. A change of use and a new facade may need approvals from the building owner and the Noida Authority, depending on the plot and the lease. Check before the survey, so the design is drawn to what is allowed.
