Loading-Bay Shutters, Louvres & ACP for Faridabad Factories
In Faridabad's industrial sectors, facade work means large rolling shutters for loading bays and stores, aluminium louvres to ventilate plant rooms, and ACP on the admin block's front. All are quoted after a site visit, because opening size, airflow and daily use decide the specification.

A factory in Sector 24, Sectors 58 and 59 or the Neharpar industrial belt treats its building envelope as working equipment. Shutters and louvres in Faridabad's industrial sectors open and close dozens of times a day, take knocks from forklifts and pallets, and keep generators and compressors breathing. The only purely visual part is usually the admin block, where a clean ACP front carries the company name.
Shutters for loading bays and stores
A loading-bay shutter is sized to the opening and to how it is used. Wide bays and shutters opened many times a shift are where a motor pays for itself; a store opened twice a day manages with a gear-operated or manual shutter. Every motorised shutter should have a manual override for power cuts. The manual vs motorised shutter guide sets out the costs and the maintenance.
| Style | Why it suits a Faridabad factory | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Rolling shutter | Secures loading bays and stores; sized and motorised to match daily use | Quoted after visit |
| Aluminium louvres | Ventilates generator, compressor and panel rooms while keeping rain out | Quoted after visit |
| ACP cladding | A smart, washable front for the admin block and company signage | Quoted after visit |
Louvres: airflow first, looks second
Plant rooms need a set amount of free air, and a louvre with closely set blades looks neat but can starve a generator. The blade profile, spacing and angle are chosen for the airflow needed and the rain exposure of that wall; louvres explains the types. Blades that rattle in wind or under vibration from machinery usually have worn clips or a frame that was not fixed rigidly, described in louvres rattling.
Why industrial shutters stick
The most common causes on a factory floor are guides bent by a pallet or forklift, dust and grit packed into the channels, and springs or motors worked harder than they were sized for. A shutter that jams halfway holds up the whole loading bay; rolling shutter stuck covers what to check before calling anyone. Bollards or a steel guard at the base of each guide prevent most impact damage.
The admin block's front
Visitors and buyers see the admin block first. ACP over a plain brick or plastered front, with the company name in cut letters, is a quick upgrade. For a building where people work above the factory floor, ask for a fire-retardant core; the ACP cladding price guide explains how grade and framing change the cost.
Before the visit
- List each opening with its width, height and how often it is opened per shift.
- Share the generator or compressor rating if louvres are for a plant room, so free area can be checked.
- Note any guides already bent or patched.
- Tell us the factory's working hours, safety rules and gate pass process.
A visit is ₹99, usually arranged within 24 to 48 hours of booking, and is adjusted against the final bill. We measure each opening and wall, then send a written, all-inclusive quote, aimed within about 2 hours and valid for 3 days. Shutters and louvres are made after the 50% advance, and fitting is planned for a weekly off or shift change where possible. The balance follows completion.
For mezzanines, gates and office cabins in the same plants, see the industrial sectors page. City-wide, see facades and shutters in Faridabad and the facade and shutter catalogue. The residential side of Neharpar is covered under Greater Faridabad. Send photos of the openings on WhatsApp or book a visit.
Common questions
How much does a motorised rolling shutter cost for a factory in Faridabad?
There is no published rate. The cost depends on the opening width and height, the slat gauge, galvanising, the motor size and controls, and any guards. We measure each opening at the site visit and send a written quote covering fabrication, motor and installation for the agreed scope.
Can louvres be added to an existing plant room wall?
Usually, yes. An opening is cut or an existing one is enlarged, a frame is fixed, and the louvre panel is set in it. The free area must suit the equipment inside. We check the wall, the opening and the airflow needed at the visit.
Factory shutter baar baar atak jaata hai, kya karein?
Check the guides for dents from forklifts or pallets, clean grit out of the channels and see whether the spring or motor struggles. Bent guides are the most common cause. Send a short video on WhatsApp showing both guides and the shutter moving, and we will advise whether repair or replacement makes sense.
