Glass Repairs, Windows and Shower Glass in Sector 74, Noida

Sector 74 is, to a large extent, one address: Supertech Capetown. A 2017 PTI report on the project's funding called it one of the largest group housing projects in NCR, planned at around 8,000 homes, with more than 4,300 of them handed over by then and the rest still under construction. Around it stand Supertech ORB, a set of three circular towers about 40 storeys high, Supertech North Eye and Ajnara Grand Heritage. The Aqua Line's Sector 50 station is close by to the north-west, roughly a kilometre from North Eye.

Why do flats in the same Sector 74 township need different work?

Because they were not finished at the same time. A township delivered in phases over many years puts towers handed over in the early 2010s next to ones that arrived much later. The first lot have had a decade of daily use; the later ones may still be on untouched builder fittings. One gate and one maintenance office, but very different jobs behind the doors:

Windows on the upper floors

A 30- or 40-storey tower catches far more wind than a four-storey house. On the high floors of ORB and the taller Capetown blocks, that shows up as sliders that rattle in a storm, whistle through worn interlocks or let fine dust in across the sill. Usually the frame is sound and the fix is mechanical: new rollers, brush seals at the interlock and fresh gaskets. When the frame has bent, or the real complaint is road noise rather than wind, replacement is the honest answer. A uPVC window seals tighter than an old slider, and a new aluminium sliding window keeps the slim look the elevation was designed with. On a high floor the swap is done from inside the flat, one opening at a time, and the new frame has to match the tower's colour and glass from outside, which most maintenance offices insist on. Plenty of Sector 74 bathrooms still have the builder's curtain rail, or an early framed screen whose seals went hard years ago. Getting in and up

• Tell us the tower and block. Capetown is big enough that the walk from the gate to some towers is long, and glass panels are carried, not wheeled.
• Book the service lift. Toughened panels go up in the service lift; if your tower's car is small, say so, so the glass is sized or split to fit.
• Ask about permitted hours. Large societies normally restrict drilling to set daytime hours, and your maintenance office will know them.
• Get the work slip. A repair inside the flat usually needs only gate entry; window replacement and grills usually need written permission.

The visit for new work costs ₹99 and is adjusted against the final bill; we generally visit within 24–48 hours, and the written quote follows within about two hours.
