Glass & Metal Work in Ballabgarh, Faridabad

Ballabgarh is older than modern Faridabad. The town was founded in 1739 by Raja Balram Singh, who also began the palace now known as Nahar Singh Mahal, today a Haryana Tourism heritage property that hosts the Kartik Cultural Festival each November. The town takes its metro station's name from Raja Nahar Singh, who was executed for his part in the 1857 uprising; the station opened in November 2018 as the southern terminus of the Violet Line. Around the old town, newer sectors and industrial areas have grown up, so Ballabgarh needs every kind of glass and metal work at once.

The old town: security and shopfronts

In the bazaar streets, shops sit at ground level with families above, and access is tight. Factories on the town's edge

Ballabgarh borders Faridabad's industrial belt, including Sectors 58 and 59 near the railway station. Workshops on the edge of town often sit next to houses, and a workshop owner's needs are practical: a gate that a tempo can pass through, a shutter that locks reliably, and a shed that keeps the rain off stock in the yard.
