Slope, gutters and the stair door
Rain must leave the shed on the side away from the stair door, into a gutter that drains to the roof outlet, not onto the neighbour's balcony. A slope of a few degrees is enough for polycarbonate. Leaves from the township's tree-lined parks collect in gutters fast, and an overflowing shed gutter usually just needs clearing.

Solid polycarbonate sheet looks like glass and lets in most light; multiwall sheet diffuses light and insulates a little better. Both should carry a UV-protected face turned upward. Common questions
Will a terrace shed cause leaks into my Ardee City flat?
Not if the column bases are detailed properly. Each base plate is anchored through the waterproofing, so the anchors and plate are sealed and set where water does not pond. Fixing to a solid parapet avoids drilling the roof at all. Most leaks come from poorly sealed bases or flat sheds that do not drain.
Can the shed cover the water tanks too?
