Is a glass roof on a pergola too hot in Gurgaon summers?

Can a ceiling fan be hung from a steel pergola?
Yes, if it is planned in. A mounting plate and a conduit route are built into the frame before fabrication, so the fan hangs from a proper fixing and the cable is hidden. Adding them after the pergola is finished is possible but less neat.
