Sector 78 is the best-known name in the 74–79 block. Mahagun Moderne, completed around 2015 and next to The Manthan School, is its largest society, with flats listed up to 4 and 5 BHK. The Hyde Park by Nimbus, Antriksh Golf View 1 and 2, Sunshine Helios and Aditya Urban Casa fill most of the rest. What sets the sector apart is retail: it has two malls and several marts, among them Mahagun Mart, Hyde Park Crowne, Sikka Kaima Galleria and the shopping arcades attached to Antriksh Golf View 2, Sunshine Helios and Aditya Urban Casa. Sector 78 Main Road runs through it, and the Aqua Line's Sector 101 station serves it from the south.

Bigger flats mean bigger bathrooms

A master bathroom in a 4 BHK has room for things a compact flat does not: a corner shower closed on two sides, a long walk-in screen, or a separate wet area split off from the vanity. These are the styles that suit Sector 78's larger layouts:

The second renovation

Towers finished around the middle of the last decade are now on their second round of bathroom work. The glass is often fine; what has aged is everything around it. The usual signs:

• A white haze that no longer wipes off: hard water stains on shower glass. Early film can be cleaned; glass that has etched stays dull.
• Black lines in the silicone at the base: black mould in partition silicone, fixed by resealing.

Each of these is quoted from a photo on WhatsApp, without the visit fee. Replacing the whole enclosure only makes sense when the layout is changing or the glass is damaged. Shop units in the marts

The marts are full of small shops, clinics and offices behind glass. A refitted unit may want a new toughened glass shop front with door from ₹500 per sq ft. More often the job is a door: a floor spring that lets the door slam, a patch fitting that has worked loose, a door that has dropped and drags on the floor.
