Shop Fronts, ACP & Glass Work in Rajouri Garden, Delhi

Rajouri Garden is a West Delhi colony on the Ring Road, best known for its Main Market and the showrooms along it, with Nehru Market nearby. The metro station is an interchange between the Blue and Pink Lines. Behind the commercial frontage, the lettered blocks are plotted residential housing, and over the last two decades much of it has been rebuilt from family houses into four-storey builder floors.

Timing a shop front in a busy market

Main Market traffic is heavy in the evenings and at weekends, and a showroom loses money every hour it is shuttered. The practical approach is to fabricate everything off site, then fit in the quietest window you have, often early morning. The old front comes out and the new one goes in on the same day where the design allows. Parking for a loading vehicle is tight, so we plan the unloading spot at the visit. Builder floors: finishing a new home

New builder floors in Rajouri Garden are often handed over with basic fittings, leaving the buyer to finish the bathrooms, balconies and terrace. The requests tend to be:

Builder floors share a staircase and often a narrow one. Long glass panels have to make the landing turn, so the stairwell is measured along with the room.

Builder-floor owners on corner plots often ask for a matching MS main gate at the stilt, which is a shared decision with the other floors. Bathrooms here are generous enough for an L-shape frameless shower enclosure with door, from ₹500 per sq ft. Glass is measured only once the tiling and the waterproofing are complete.
