Windows, Sliding Doors and Gates for Houses in Sector 14, Noida

Sector 14 is a sector of large independent houses, so most work is big sliding doors, sealed windows, gates and terrace pergolas, all measured and quoted after a ₹99 site visit. Bathroom glass is the exception with a published rate: a frameless sliding partition starts at ₹550 per sq ft.

Aluminium slide-and-fold glass doors opening a living room onto a garden lawn

Sector 14 sits in Noida's north-west corner, between the bungalow plots of Sector 14A and the older housing of Sector 15, a short drive from the DND Flyover and the Delhi border. It is an upscale sector of independent houses on residential plots, with a handful of builder floors, and its blocks are arranged around neighbourhood parks. There is no metro station inside the sector; Sector 15 on the Blue Line is the nearest. The postcode is 201301.

Large houses on generous plots change what people ask a fabricator for. The openings are wider, the gates heavier, and the terrace is a room in its own right rather than a place for water tanks.

Why are windows and doors the first job here?

Two things push owners in Sector 14 towards new windows. First, many houses are old enough to carry their original steel or early aluminium frames. Second, traffic on the roads towards the DND and the Delhi border carries noise and dust into front rooms. The usual answers:

Large openings, heavy glass

A sliding door across a living room can be several metres wide, and its panels are heavy. That puts the weight on the bottom track and the lintel above, so the visit checks both: whether the floor is level along the full run and whether the lintel is deep enough to take a head track. Slide-and-fold systems also need a clear strip of floor where the folded panels stack. If an existing slider has started to jump its rails, the sliding door off track page explains the usual causes.

Gates for wide frontages

Plots here usually have a drive wide enough for more than one car, and a swing gate across that width needs a lot of clear space to open. An MS sliding gate runs along the boundary wall instead, and can be automated later; the sliding gate automation guide covers motors and safety. A swing MS main gate still suits a narrower opening. Heavy leaves hung on old pillars are the classic cause of a gate sagging and dragging, so pillars are checked before anything is made.

Stairs and balconies inside a large house

A two- or three-storey house on a big plot usually has a wide internal stair and balconies off the upper bedrooms. Replacing a dated railing is a common part of a renovation here. A staircase railing in SS or MS follows the stair's own geometry and is measured flight by flight. Balconies take an SS balcony railing for a classic look or a glass balcony railing where the view over the lawn should stay open. Outdoors, grade matters: the SS railing grades guide explains why 304 is the usual recommendation, and balcony railing height and safety covers the heights to ask for. Railings are quoted after the visit.

Terraces and bathrooms

Big roofs invite a seating area. An MS pergola gives an open frame for shade cloth or creepers, while a polycarbonate terrace shed keeps rain off. Indoors, a frameless sliding shower partition from ₹550 per sq ft suits a bathroom where a swinging door would hit the WC, and a frameless shower partition with door starts at ₹500 per sq ft. Both use 10mm Saint-Gobain toughened glass.

The process is short: a ₹99 visit, generally arranged within 24–48 hours and adjusted against the bill; a free, all-inclusive quote within about two hours, valid for 3 days; 50% advance, then 50% on completion. Sector 15 next door has denser plotted streets, and Sector 15A has the largest bungalow plots in this corner. For every window style, see windows and doors in Noida.

Common questions

Do you cover Sector 14A as well as Sector 14?

Yes. Both sit in Noida, which we serve, and visits are generally arranged within 24–48 hours of booking. The ₹99 visit fee is the same for every project and is adjusted against the final bill if you go ahead.

How much does a large sliding door cost for a Sector 14 house?

Aluminium sliding doors and slide-and-fold doors have no fixed rate, because width, panel count, glass and hardware vary. They are measured at the site visit and quoted in an all-inclusive written quote within about two hours, valid for 3 days.

Will uPVC windows stop road noise from the DND side?

They reduce it noticeably compared with old single-glazed steel frames, because welded corners and rubber gaskets close the gaps. They do not make a room silent. Glass type matters too, so discuss how quiet the room needs to be at the visit.
