Glass Fronts, Shutters and Security Fabrication for Banks and ATMs in Gurgaon

Bank branches and ATM rooms need security first and brand consistency second: rolling shutters and MS grills, a reinforced door to the strong room area, toughened glass fronts, manager cabins and fascia in the bank's colours. Work is done after banking hours or on holidays.

Fabrication for a bank branch or an ATM room is security work wrapped in a brand. Branch premises teams, ATM site managers and landlords who lease to banks in Gurgaon, Noida and Delhi usually work to a bank's own premises specification, which spells out the shutter, the grills, the glass and the colours. The fabricator's job is to build exactly that, at the site in front of them, without disturbing the branch's business hours.

The security layer

Inside the branch

Branches commonly need a manager's cabin, a glass-screened cash or teller area, a waiting zone and a records room. A frameless glass cabin with door keeps the manager visible to customers; an aluminium-framed cabin suits older buildings with uneven walls. Teller and enquiry counter screens with transaction slots are made to size as custom glass installation. Frosted bands add privacy for loan discussions; see frosted film vs frosted glass.

Brand and fascia

Banks and ATM operators publish strict signage and colour standards. ACP cladding in the specified colour carries the sign band and frames the ATM lobby; ask for an ACP fire-retardant core where required. Faded ACP is a common brand-audit failure, so a good colour-stable panel is worth specifying.

How a branch or ATM job is run

  1. Spec and site visit. Share the bank's premises specification, then book the visit (₹99, adjusted against the bill), usually within 24–48 hours.
  2. Written quote, aimed within about two hours of the visit, all-inclusive for the agreed scope and valid three days, itemised in the way the premises team needs.
  3. Fabrication after the 50% advance; toughened glass generally takes 7–10 days, steel is made off site.
  4. After-hours installation: evenings, Sundays or bank holidays, so cash handling and customers are never mixed with a work crew. A live ATM is usually switched off and secured by the operator for the work window.
  5. Completion, balance 50%, and one contact for later service.

What drives the cost

The glass front is the rated part: ₹500 per sq ft. A typical ATM room front 8 ft wide and 10 ft high is 80 sq ft, about ₹40,000. Manager cabins are ₹400 per sq ft. Shutters, grills, safety doors and ACP have no published rate; they depend on size, gauge, locks, motorisation and finish, and are priced after the visit. See ACP cladding price and glass door installation cost.

Banks and ATMs across Delhi NCR

Facade and shutter work: Gurgaon, Noida, Delhi. Grills and doors: metal fabrication in Gurgaon and Noida. Glass faults anywhere in Gurugram are under glass repairs in Gurgaon. Every city we cover is on the Delhi NCR page.

The faults premises teams report most are a shutter lock that is jammed, a glass door lock not working, safety doors rattling and ACP colour fading. Send photos on WhatsApp for a repair quote, or share the premises specification to start a new site.

Common questions

What glass is used for an ATM room front?

Usually 12mm toughened glass with a glass door on a floor machine, behind a rolling shutter. Some banks specify laminated glass because it stays in place when broken. Follow the bank's premises specification; we fabricate to it and measure the actual opening on site, since the opening rarely matches the standard drawing exactly.

Can bank work be done outside banking hours?

Yes, and it normally is. Fabrication happens off site, and installation is planned for evenings, Sundays or bank holidays so customers and cash handling are never mixed with a work crew. The work window is agreed with the branch or ATM operator when the quote is drawn up.

How much does an ATM room glass front cost?

The toughened glass front with door is ₹500 per sq ft, fitted, in 12mm Saint-Gobain glass with SS304 fittings. An 8 ft by 10 ft front is 80 sq ft, about ₹40,000. The shutter, grills and fascia have no published rate and are priced after the site visit.

Do you build strong rooms or vault doors?

No. Strong rooms and vault doors are specialist security products supplied by vault manufacturers. FabWise handles the surrounding fabrication: MS safety doors to back-office areas, window grills, rolling shutters, glass fronts, manager cabins and ACP fascia, built to the bank's premises specification.

Bank branch ka shutter motor wala lagwana chahiye?

For wide fronts, usually yes. A motorised shutter is far easier to open and close every day, is less likely to be forced off its guides, and some bank specifications ask for it. A narrow ATM shutter works fine manually. Width and the bank's specification decide it.
