A builder or developer buys fabrication by the floor, not by the item. Whether the project is a set of builder floors in Gurugram, a mid-rise group housing block in Noida or a commercial building further afield, the brief is similar: one approved specification, hundreds of nearly identical openings, a schedule tied to other trades and a handover date that does not move.

How fabrication fits a construction schedule

Fabrication sits between civil work and finishing. Measure too early and the openings change when plaster goes on; fit too late and the painters and tilers are waiting. A workable sequence:

1. Spec and mock-up. Agree one specification per package and fit a mock-up flat or bay for the project team and sales to sign off.
2. Measure after plaster. Window and railing openings are measured once they are final. A first visit costs ₹99 and is adjusted against the bill.
3. Written quote per package, all-inclusive for the agreed scope. Our standard terms are a 50% advance and 50% on completion; how a large project is split into packages or phases is agreed in writing before work starts.
4. Batch fabrication floor by floor or tower by tower. Toughened glass for railings and showers generally takes 7–10 days per batch.
5. Installation behind the civil team, coordinated with the site engineer so railings go up before balcony finishing and windows before internal paint.
6. Snag list and handover: every opening checked, sliders adjusted, protective film removed at the end, one point of contact until handover.

What decides the cost of a builder package

• Quantity and repetition: a single repeated design is quicker to make and fit than many variations.
• Height and access: high-rise work needs safe access for each floor; low-rise builder floors are simpler.
• Finish: powder-coat colours and anodising for aluminium; hot-dip galvanising for exposed steel.
• Schedule: work spread over many short site windows costs more in mobilisation than continuous work.
