Shower Glass, Railings and Windows for Hotels in Gurgaon & Delhi NCR
A hotel's glass work is mostly repetition: the same shower enclosure in dozens of rooms, the same balcony railing on every floor, plus quiet windows, a lobby entrance and often a rooftop pergola. Build one sample room first, then fit floor by floor so rooms stay sellable.

For hotel owners and operators in Gurgaon, Noida and Delhi, glass and metal work is a rooms problem: a guest notices a leaking shower, a rattling window or a wobbly balcony railing faster than any lobby feature. Whether it is a new budget hotel near the airport side of Gurugram, a service apartment block or a refurbishment of an older property, the work splits into the guest room, the public areas and the building outside.
In every guest room
- Shower glass. Compact hotel bathrooms usually suit a frameless sliding shower partition (no door swing to hit the WC) or a fixed shower screen with open entry, which has no moving parts for housekeeping to break.
- Windows. Rooms on a highway or flight path need uPVC windows or well-sealed aluminium with good EPDM gaskets; see soundproof windows in Delhi NCR. Double-glazed units help most with noise.
- Balconies. A glass balcony railing for the view, or an SS balcony railing where budget and maintenance matter more.
- Mesh. Mosquito mesh on opening windows, especially near green belts.
In public areas and outside
- A toughened glass entrance with door in the lobby, often with a glass canopy over the drop-off.
- Glass walls around the restaurant, business centre or gym, using a fixed frameless glass wall.
- A rooftop bar or terrace with an MS pergola or polycarbonate shed, and railings at the edge.
- Facade refresh with ACP cladding or structural glazing.
Why a sample room comes first
In a hotel, the first room is a prototype. Fitting one complete bathroom and one window set lets the owner, the operator and housekeeping test the details: which way the slider opens, whether the seal leaves a puddle, how easy the glass is to squeegee, whether the handle height is comfortable. Changes cost one room's worth of glass at this stage and forty rooms' worth later.
How a hotel job is phased
- Survey the floors. One site visit (₹99, adjusted against the bill), usually arranged within 24–48 hours. Bathrooms that look identical on drawings often differ by a few millimetres on site, so each opening is measured.
- Quote per room type. A written, all-inclusive quote, aimed within about two hours of the visit and valid three days, set out by room type and floor.
- Sample room, then bulk fabrication after the 50% advance. Toughened glass generally takes 7–10 days.
- Floor-by-floor installation. Take a block of rooms out of inventory, fit, clean and return them, so the hotel never closes. Silicone in showers needs curing time before guests use them.
- Completion and handover, balance 50%, one contact for snags across all floors.
Hotel needs and the styles that answer them
| Hotel need | What usually works | Style page |
|---|---|---|

| Walk-in shower, low maintenance | Single fixed glass screen | Fixed shower screen |
| Suite bathroom | L-shaped corner enclosure | L-shape enclosure with slider |
| Road or aircraft noise | Sealed uPVC windows | uPVC window |
| Room balconies | Toughened glass or SS railing | Glass balcony railing |
| Rooftop seating | Steel pergola | MS pergola |
What hotel glass costs
Bathroom glass follows the rate card: ₹370 per sq ft for a fixed screen, ₹550 per sq ft for a frameless slider and ₹570 per sq ft for an L-shaped slider enclosure. A typical room slider of about 25 sq ft is roughly ₹13,750 per room, so 40 rooms is a straightforward multiplication. Windows, railings, pergolas and facades are priced after the survey. The shower cubicle cost guide, glass railing price and uPVC window price pages explain each.
Hotels in Gurugram, Noida and Delhi
Family pages: shower cubicles in Gurgaon, Noida and Delhi; railings in Gurgaon; windows and doors in Delhi. Hotel clusters along MG Road and the Dwarka Expressway face heavy traffic and flight-path noise. Everything we cover is on the Delhi NCR page.
Housekeeping teams should know the common faults: shower doors leaking, sliders coming off rollers, scratched shower glass and windows whistling in wind. Send photos on WhatsApp for a repair quote, or book a survey for new work.
Common questions
Which shower partition is best for hotel rooms?
For compact bathrooms, a frameless sliding partition or a fixed screen. Sliders need no swing space, and a fixed screen has no moving parts, so it is the lowest-maintenance choice. Hinged doors suit larger suite bathrooms. Test the choice in a sample room before ordering for every floor.
How much does shower glass for a whole hotel cost?
Multiply the rate by the glass area and the room count. A frameless slider is ₹550 per sq ft, so a 25 sq ft room slider is about ₹13,750 per room. The written quote after the survey lists each room type with its sizes.
Can the work be done without closing the hotel?
Yes, by phasing. A block of rooms is taken out of inventory, fitted, cleaned and returned, then the next block. Fabrication happens off site, so on-site time per room is short, but shower silicone needs time to cure before guests use the room.
What helps most with highway noise in hotel rooms?
Sealing the window properly matters more than glass alone. uPVC or good aluminium windows with tight EPDM gaskets and double-glazed units cut traffic and aircraft noise far more than single glass in loose sliding frames. See our guide to soundproof windows in Delhi NCR.
Hotel ke saare rooms ka glass ek saath banega?
Usually after a sample room is approved. One room is fitted first so the operator and housekeeping can check every detail; then the remaining rooms are measured, fabricated in batches and fitted floor by floor. Toughened glass generally takes 7–10 days per batch to produce.
